Bill

Bill Mullane is a podcaster, writer, musician, father, and devoted clown. His works span the worlds of music, comedy, horror, metaphysics, sports, and sad buffoonery.

As a songwriter, guitarist, drummer, and haphazard vocalist, he’s performed everything from experimental alt-rock and metal to acoustic ballads and timeless jam band jazz. As an author, he has written:

He has worked as a lead writer and senior editor for PI law firms, a beat writer for Defiant Takes Football and Last Word On Sports, and a feature writer in association with such major publications as USA Today, Forbes, Entrepreneur, and others.

Putting the Man in Mania

Bill was born 39 years ago on the night of a torrential April thunderstorm when, unbeknownst to the good people of Buffalo, NY, heaven and hell merged in one glorious moment and out plopped one radiant little bastard.

Unaware of what they’d just spawned, his birthgivers dumped the poor little guy into a wheelbarrow. In that rusty iron tub, he lay until he was old enough to mix cement inside of it and push it around.

Unfortunately for his folks, Bill decided to play music, which led to the first villain along his journey — addiction! This led him back to the wheelbarrow to scrounge, but eventually to college, parenthood, and some breathtaking awakenings.

After shuffling through his weekdays like a good little bot, he finally realized that life is far too short to be anything other than the truly majestic, clownish animal he was created to be, and so he did what every beautiful loser must do — he started a podcast!

The Bill Mullane Show was made manifest on the evening of May 11, 2024.

This is a weekly (Friday night), one-man variety show featuring dark and surreal comedy, original/experimental music, skits, and nonfiction storytelling. Initially, the show also used horror storytelling, a custom-made paranormal news network, and guided meditations to convey life-changing metaphysical concepts. These have evolved into shows of their own, but Bill's ultimate goal remains the same — to meet you in the gutter and use the power of paradox like a rising tide to lift all lost, drug-addled, traumatized boats.
